Our Northern Exposure Short Film Night is back on the world wide web - bravely confronting the prospect of technical difficulties head on to bring its usual mix of films and chat to the North's creatives from 6pm on Monday, 22 June.
This special edition coincides with our Genre in Focus: Horror season and features a killer line-up of homegrown horror shorts from local talent. Selections include Secretion: an RTS-nominated chiller from Sarah Talbot about an unhappily married couple whose domestic unease is amplified by stilted dinners under a gruesome, dripping stain that is growing on the ceiling of their flat.
Our BFI NETWORK team will be joined by the featured filmmakers for a post-screening Q&A. We'll talk about the work they've shared and their approaches to working within the horror genre, as well as answering questions from the audience.
