Young Audiences Screening Day is coming to HOME on Thursday, 2 May. With the event back in the North, it's a valuable opportunity for exhibitors in the region to catch up with the latest youth market insights in one condensed day of screenings, sessions and networking.
Engaging audiences aged 16-30 remains one of the Hub's key strategic aims and an essential part of developing the next generation of cinemagoers. Young Audiences Screening Day is a chance to help your organisation to reach this goal: you'll catch previews of upcoming youth-skewing releases, learn best practice from industry peers and hear valuable insights from beyond the exhibition sector. The confirmed line-up currently includes a screening of Teen Spirit, a coming of age tale set in harsh world of pop superstardom; a session led by Jackie Edwards, head of the BFI's new Leeds-based Young Audiences Content Fund; and a meeting of young programmers groups from across the country.
