Film Hub North is excited to introduce Online Filmmaker Roundtables: a new series of free events giving local writers, directors and producers the opportunity to connect with our Talent Development team remotely. Our first sessions take place on Wednesday, 15 April - the first runs from 11:00 - 12:00 and the second from 14:00 - 15:00.
Each Roundtable is hosted by one of the Hub's BFI NETWORK Talent Executives and will involve up to 10 local filmmakers. The sessions are an opportunity to introduce yourself to our talent development team and find out about the film funding and training opportunities available through BFI NETWORK. The Roundtables will also bring together the region's filmmakers - providing a space for them to discuss their work and ongoing projects, and meet future collaborators.
We value the filmmaking community we usually serve through our in-person events and hope that these Online Roundtables go some way to keeping Northern creatives connected at a time where peer support and novel ways of working are especially important.
