Celebrating our young documentary filmmakers who created micro-shorts on the theme of People and Places.
All films submitted to our
DIY Filmmaking Challenge: Documentary – People and Places were made by young, Northern filmmakers on a shoestring budget and to a tight production deadline.
Shortlisted films were presented at a special showcase screening as part of
Sheffield Doc/Fest and the winning filmmaker - who will receive £1,000 of funding and production support from Film Hub North to make a micro-budget short - was revealed.
