Kira-Anne Pelican, PhD is a writer, educator and story consultant, specialising in helping writers develop more compelling novels, TV series and films through insights from evidence-based psychology. She is the author of The Science of Writing Characters (Bloomsbury, 2020).

Kira-Anne Pelican, PhD is the author of The Science of Writing Characters: Using Psychology to Create Compelling Fictional Characters. She is also a screenwriter, lecturer and script consultant with 25 years of experience working in the film and television industries in the UK and US.
