Scratch Me presents: Casting Director Insights; an online in conversation event with casting director for film and television Heather Basten. Join us from 6pm on Tuesday, 27 October for the penultimate event in a series all about character development.

During this session, Heather will demystify the casting process and the casting directors' role in bringing screen characters to life. Drawing on her work on productions such as Netflix's The End of the F***ing World and Robert Egger's The Lighthouse, she'll talk about the importance of casting to the production process as a whole, what the perfect performer can bring to your project and how to get the strongest cast within your budget.

Our host for the evening is Manchester-based film and television producer Loran Dunn.
