Kirkgate Arts runs the Kirkgate Centre in Cockermouth and Arts Out West, the Rural Touring Scheme for West Cumbria.

The Kirkgate, a multi-use arts and community centre, has a regular cinema night every Monday, plus occasional additional screenings, plus live streaming of productions from the National Theatre, Royal Opera House &c.

Arts Out West supports a network of volunteer-run village halls and other community venues, some of which show films through the CineNorth scheme. We also now have our own high grade projection kit.
