The Hyde Park Picture House is a single screen cinema based in Leeds. Grade II listed, the cinema opened for business on the 2nd November 1914 to provide information, entertainment and general morale boosting experiences to the audiences of North Leeds. 101 year's later I think our aims haven’t really changed that much and our beautiful 275 seat cinema is open for business seven days a week, 52 weeks a year.

Our film programme contains a vibrant mixture of the best of foreign language, independent and classic cinema that can be found with the odd blockbuster mixed in for fun. Our diverse range of events are shaped in part by regular collaborative programming with a rich set of city wide partners including the Leeds International and Leeds Young Film Festival, Pavilion, the University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett, Leeds College of Art, Film Fringe... really the list can go on for a while. Essentially we love working with people who are as passionate about their subject as we are about film.
