Launched in June 2021, the Pillars Artist Fellowship is a new development programme empowering Muslim artists on their pathway to success. To help introduce Muslim filmmakers in the UK to the Fellowship, we're partnering with Pillars Fund to host an Information Roundtable at 5pm on Monday, 9 August.
During the session we'll hear from Arij Mikati - Managing Director of Culture Change at Pillars Fund - who will discuss the Fellowship and answer questions from the room.
Places at the Roundtable are free, but limited - apply for yours below.
The Pillars Artist Fellowship has been established to improve the career trajectories of emerging Muslim Writers and Directors who may otherwise lack the opportunities to realise their full potential. Participating artists receive unrestricted financial awards, high-quality one-on-one mentorship, a career development curriculum and access to a growing community of peers.
This Roundtable is for Muslim artists who are eligible to apply for the Fellowship - for more information on eligibility, take a look at the Fellowship FAQ.
Apply for your spot by 12pm on Friday, 6 August. We'll confirm places shortly after the deadline and will pass on session login details then.
The information roundtable is free to attend. All that's required is a reliable internet connection and access to a device that supports video conferencing.
