Our Northern Exposure Short Film Night is back online – this time with a BFI NETWORK takeover. Expect our regular mix of films and chat with creatives from 7pm on Thursday, 17 March.
This special edition coincides with our Animation Day season and features a killer line-up of BFI NETWORK supported animation shorts from talent across the UK. Selections include Treasure (Samantha Moore, Produced by Abigail Addison), Red Rover (Astrid Goldsmith, Produced by Hank Starrs), Type (Lesley-Anne Rose, Produced by Maria Caruana Galizia & Dana Bruce) Knot (Marie Lechevallier, Produced by Millie Marsh & Chris Hees) and Blue Bottle (Jenny Wright, Produced by Jake Cunningham).
Our BFI NETWORK team will be joined by the featured filmmakers for a post-screening Q&A. We'll talk about the work they've shared and their approaches to working within animation, as well as answering questions from the audience.
Places are free and registration is open now at the link below.
This edition of Northern Exposure will take place entirely over Zoom. Following introductions we’ll stream the shorts showcase and then host the filmmaker Q&A and discussion. All you'll need to take part is a reliable internet connection.
