Scrapper - Charlotte Regan's joyous comedy of irrepressible youth and unconventional family life - is set to be one of the most exciting British debut features of the year.
Ahead of its general release on Friday 25 August, the film is touring the country for a string of special preview events - including stops at Tyneside Cinema (

We're excited to be hosting Filmmaker Roundtables with Charlotte Regan ahead of the Newcastle and Liverpool screenings. Moderated by the BFI NETWORK team, these roundtables are a chance for up to 10 local filmmakers to sit down with Charlotte for an informal chat about her career so far and the journey of making Scrapper.
