Climate Comedy Shorts

4 new northern shorts exploring the climate crisis

Published: 15 Nov 2024

In 2021 Film Hub North in collaboration with ArtBomb, Doncaster Creates and Hell Fire! commissioned four short comedy films exploring imagined outcomes of the climate crisis. To coincide with COP 29 taking place in Azerbaijan, we’re now launching the films online.

The films were all made in and around Doncaster led by Art Bomb and produced by Leeds based producers Hell Fire! The films tackle flooding, plastic pollution, climate change and sustainability in a comedic way to find new angles on the climate emergency.
