Applications have reopened for the BFI Short Form Animation Fund - a fund which supports growth in the UK animation sector with awards of up to £120,000 for bold and ambitious animation projects.
To help introduce local filmmakers to the fund, we're partnering with our colleagues at the BFI to host an Information Roundtable at 4pm on Tuesday, 13 July.
BFI Story Editor and Development Coordinator Phoebe Sutherland will be in attendance to talk to Northern animators about the fund and answer questions from the room.
Places at the Roundtable are free, but limited - apply for yours below.
This event is for filmmakers based in the North who are eligible to apply for the BFI Short Form Animation Fund.
You should be a director or writer/director with at least three director credits on previous pieces of animated work. One of these should have received notable industry recognition. For more information, read the
full eligibility criteria in the funding guidelines.
The information roundtable is free to attend. All that's required is a reliable internet connection and access to a device that supports video conferencing.
Please apply for your spot by 5pm on Friday 9 July. We'll confirm places the following working day and will pass on session login details then.
