BFI NETWORK Filmmaker Mixers are informal meet-ups for filmmakers based in the North of England.
They take place each month and tour to different venues across the region. Mixers are free to attend. Just sign up and show up!

Our BFI NETWORK Mixer is a chance to stretch legs and continue the conversations started in the afternoon talks. It’s also our regular event for local filmmakers to mingle and meet peers and potential collaborators. For our mixer at Leeds International Film Festival we’ll be partnering with
SHORTIES, a filmmaking community for women starting out in the film industry. SHORTIES host networking events, run programmes and screen films across London and the north.

Mixers bring together local creatives and provide opportunities for growing your network, finding collaborators and connecting with the filmmaking community. There's no set agenda for these events; we encourage you to introduce yourself to someone new and get talking.
