Our regular short film night returns to Tyneside Cinema on 11 February for a special edition presented in partnership with our friends at the British Independent Film Awards.
We'll be joined by the BIFA team as we showcase their nominees for Best British Short from the 2018 awards. The line-up will feature: The Big Day (Dir. Dawn Shadforth), Bitter Sea (Dir. Fateme Ahmadi), The Field (Dir. Sandhya Suri), Pommel (Dir. Paris Zarcilla) and To Know Him (Dir. Ted Evans).
Following the screening, we'll be hosting a drinks reception in the Tyneside Coffee Rooms where you can meet representatives from BIFA and our BFI NETWORK team, including our newly recruited Talent Executive Amy O'Hara and our Talent Coordinator, Shaun Harrison. If you're a filmmaker, you'll have the chance to chat about the funding and professional development opportunities available through BFI NETWORK - and, if you're a film fan, you can let us know what you thought of BIFA's best of British selections.
