Cross-FAN producer Timon Singh will talk about the new UK-wide season – Art of Action – and how members can get involved in this celebration of the cinematic artistry, skills, craft, historic roots and cross-cultural influence of the genre.
The season will offer audiences an action-packed journey through cinema from the jaw dropping stunts of silent cinema pioneers via the daredevil ethos of Hong Kong filmmaking to today’s intricate dynamic visual choreography.
A member of the Cross-Fan Member Support will also give an overview of the opportunities available to FAN Members across the country, including BFI FAN CON, REACH and Revisiting Your Cinema Business Model. This will also be a chance for members to feed into the programme for BFI FAN CON to enable everyone to make as much out of the conference as possible.
BFI FAN CON will be taking place at Queen’s Film Theatre, Belfast, from 11 – 13 September 2024. This conference is for BFI FAN members across the UK to meet, celebrate the work we do, share our experiences and professional practice, and consider new approaches to the wider industry issues facing us all.
