Telling a compelling story within the confines of a short film can be tricky, and distilling that narrative into a one-page document for pitching purposes can be trickier still! To help out, we've teamed up with Beth McCann from Scriptwriting North for a seminar that will demystify the short film screenwriting process for Northern filmmakers.
Join us from 10:30am on Thursday, 6 August for an online session that will equip you with the tools you need to hammer your idea into shape and form a one-pager that gets to the heart of your story. These skills are essential for filmmakers at every level and will put you in a great position to share your work with possible collaborators, partners and funders.

This session is free to attend for filmmakers based in the North - book your place via Zoom at the link below. You don't need a live webcam or microphone to participate, just a reliable internet connection.
There will be the opportunity to ask Beth questions during the session. You can use Zoom's Q&A feature to ask a question on the day or submit queries in advance to: bfinetwork@filmhubnorth.org.uk.
