Join us in Hull for an afternoon of conversation, ideas and connection with fellow film exhibitors from across the North.
Hosted at Hull's
Humber Street Gallery, this free members' event brings together cinema teams, programmers, and festival organisers to share ideas, build networks and learn from one another.
The afternoon includes networking and short presentations from Film Hub North members, as well as workshops on marketing (with arts marketing expert Ezekiel Oliveira) and on developing working-class audiences (with Linnea Pettersson, BFI FAN Socio Economic Champion at Film Hub Wales).
We're excited to celebrate Hull as our SPOTLIGHT area for 2026–2029, delivered in partnership with
Hull Independent Cinema. Through additional BFI National Lottery investment, we'll be supporting greater audience choice and improved access to independent film screenings across the city.
Tuesday 14 July
13:00-17:00, Humber Street Gallery
Please RSVP by Tuesday 7 July.
There are limited spaces available so priority will be given to members from South Yorkshire, Humber, and North and North East Lincolnshire; however, please do register if you're elsewhere in the North of England as we are still planning our member's meetings for the rest of the year.
We offer travel bursaries to help volunteers and others who may face barriers to attending the members' meeting. For more information about travel support, to discuss any access requirements, or to ask a question about the event, please get in touch at info@filmhubnorth.org.uk.
