Do you want to proactively respond to the climate crisis with direct action? Following a successful event in January 2020, we’re pleased to offer film exhibitors in the North another chance to complete Carbon Literacy Training and become sustainability advocates within the cinema sector.
Carbon Literacy Training helps exhibitors understand the environmental impact of their everyday activities, and provides them with the tools and motivation to work more sustainably. Training is led by experienced instructors from HOME – a creative sector leader in environmental policy and practice.
The course takes place online over 4 learning modules, totalling 1 full day of training. It's scheduled for Autumn 2021 - course dates will be confirmed in consultation with participants and the course leaders. You can register your interest to take part now.

Film Hub North is funding the cost of training, making it free for organisations in our network of film exhibitors to take part. As course numbers are restricted, we ask that only 1 team member per organisation registers their interest. Places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
We’ve committed to funding this training as part of #PlanetaryPromise – a new campaign from the National Lottery asking organisations and individuals to make a small pledge and a big difference to the planet.
