Our tour of the British Independent Film Awards nominees for Best British Short 2019 continues on 9 March as we bring a special showcase to FACT, Liverpool.
The line-up features some of the most exciting short form work to come out of the UK in the last year. Selections include: Boiling Point, Philip Barantini's one-shot wonder about a talented head chef - the ever magnetic Stephen Graham - under immense strain; and The Devil's Harmony, a school-set supernatural horror that sees the tables turned on a group of bullies when their victims unleash a dark, secret power.
Following the screening, we're hosting a drinks reception where you can meet representatives from BIFA and our BFI NETWORK team. If you're a filmmaker, you'll have a chance to chat about the funding and professional development opportunities available through BFI NETWORK. And, if you're a film fan, you can let us know what you thought of BIFA's best of British selections.
Tickets are free and available to book via the Eventbrite link below.
