Join us for a discussion on environmental film curation

Starts at 21 Feb 2024 13:00

Location Online

BFI FAN: Green Hour is an online learning series for UK film exhibitors in the BFI Film Audience Network.
For our next edition, we’re discussing environmental film programming.
Join us from 13:00 - 14:00 on Wednesday 21 February for a conversation led by the UK Green Film Network: an exciting, new collaboration between British cinemas founded around the common goal of sharing ideas, learnings and advice on green film curation.
We’ll hear about the origin of the UK Green Film Network, the group’s plans for the future and how exhibitors across the UK can get involved. We’ll also explore real-world examples of green programming - covering the successes, challenges and opportunities encountered along the way.
Our speakers for this webinar are Patrick Hort (Owner, Mammoth – A Climate Action Cinema), Claire Horrocks (Film Programmer, Exeter Phoenix), Felicity Beckett (Head of Green Steering Group, Picturehouse) and Carol Rennie (Operating Manager, Keswick Alhambra Cinema).
