BFI FAN: Green Hour is a series of events for UK film exhibitors focusing on environmental sustainability.
Join us online on Wednesday 4 December from 12:00 - 13:00 for a session on Tracking Environmental Impact.
In this session, we’ll be joined by
Danielle Pipe from
Julie’s Bicycle (Sustainability Coordinator, Creative Green Consultancy Programme) and
Zoe Rasbash from
Watershed.
In this conversation, Danielle and Zoe will discuss how to track your organisation’s environmental impact with sustainability reporting tools, helping you better understand your energy use and make the case for your venue to be supported in its green journey (to councils, funders, partners etc.).
Danielle Pipe
she/her
Danielle works with individual organisations and networks through consultancy and partnerships across the creative sector. She has a background in social housing energy efficiency and festival and event sustainability, previously working with Leeds 2023 Year of Culture and Sustainable Arts in Leeds (SAIL). Danielle holds an MSc in Sustainability and Consultancy from the University of Leeds.
Zoe Rasbash
she/her
Zoe is a researcher, writer and programmer working at the intersection of creative industries and climate justice. She is currently Climate Action Researcher at Watershed in Bristol, a cultural organisation focussed on togetherness. She is co-founder of Lilith Film Club, climate editor for Shado-Mag and previously campaigned with UKYCC, Amnesty International and for UN Taskforce on Climate Displacement. She works to co-design resources to enable action and combat overwhelm, and likes creating spaces of imagination to design actions in the now which realise more radical futures.
