Genre in Focus: Sci-Fi is Film Hub North's latest deep dive into the world of genre filmmaking and a celebration of cinema's ability to conjure brave new worlds, other dimensions, imagined futures and altered realities. As part of the season, we're hosting Developing Sci-Fi: a conversation between Anna Levine, Senior Manager at Gunpowder & Sky (home of sci-fi brand DUST), and Film4 Development and Production Executive David Kimbangi.
Join us from 4pm on Wednesday, 29 July for a discussion hosted by film writer and broadcaster Beth Webb. Anna and David will draw on their experience at the forefront of  contemporary sci-fi production and UK independent filmmaking discuss the genre landscape in the UK and how filmmakers can make their sci-fi dream projects a reality. Our guests will also answer questions from the room - you can submit yours in advance or ask it during the session.
