Our BFI NETWORK team are partnering up with our friends at the British Independent Film Awards once again - this time, we're bringing a showcase of the BIFA 2018 nominees for Best British Short to HOME on Thursday, 13 June.

We'll be joined by the BIFA team as we present some of the most exciting short form work to come out of the UK in the last year, including The Big Day (Dir. Dawn Shadforth), Bitter Sea (Dir. Fateme Ahmadi), The Field (Dir. Sandhya Suri), Pommel (Dir. Paris Zarcilla) and To Know Him (Dir. Ted Evans).

Following the screening, we'll be hosting a Q&A with Kellie Smith (writer) and Michelle Stein (producer) of winning short, The Big Day, and we'll close out the evening with a drinks reception where you can meet representatives from BIFA and our BFI NETWORK team. If you're a filmmaker, you'll have the chance to chat about the funding and professional development opportunities available through BFI NETWORK - and, if you're a film fan, you can let us know what you thought of BIFA's best of British selections.
