Widescreen Weekend returns for 2017 - 12th - 15th October 2017
Widescreen Weekend returns to the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford, welcoming visitors from around the world to join UK and Yorkshire film lovers in a celebration of film technology utilising the Museum's unique cinema facilities.
Highlights include a screening of the worlds only remaining print of The Wonderful World of Brothers Grim (1962. Dirs. George Pal & Henry Levin, USA). Widescreen Weekend also welcomes acclaimed British Film Historian, documentary-maker, filmmaker and author Kevin Brownlow, who will be taking audiences through his journey to restore Abel Gance's silent masterpiece Napoleon (1927, France).
