We’re looking for a Talent Producer (Part Time) to help us support aspiring filmmakers aged 16-25 in the North of England.

Film Hub North supports emerging filmmakers in the North through a combination of funding, training and community-building. We're one of the regional delivery partners for BFI Film Academy: a programme that offers opportunities for ambitious 16-25 year-olds, anywhere in the UK, to get to know more about film and how to forge a career in the screen industries.

This role is focused on leading our region-wide BFI Film Academy programme. The post-holder will be responsible for developing and delivering events and opportunities that help young people break into the film industry.

The Talent Producer will work in collaboration with cinemas, festivals and other cultural organisations across the North to deliver the BFI Film Academy programme. The post-holder will also be responsible for contributing to the Hub's wider ambitions for audience and filmmaker development in the region, and ensuring that our BFI Film Academy work supports these aims.

Applicants should be passionate about the film sector and have a strong ability to engage with new talent - including creatives that are working across a variety of forms and platforms. You will be a great communicator, committed to diversity and inclusion, and be able to plan and deliver high-quality talent development programmes.
