Fantasy films by Georges Méliès, Segundo de Chomón and RW Paul Take a journey into the impossible with this collection of short fantasy films from the first days of cinema. Full of ingenious effects and beautiful hand-drawn colours, these tales of flying cars, rockets to the sun and magical goings on are as astounding today as they must have been a century ago. The programme includes George Méliès’ famous 1902 adventure, A Trip to the Moon. Part of Yorkshire Silent Film Festival.
