Propeller Scheme up to £1,500 available to grow audiences for British and International Film

Apply for up to £1,500 for any projects which aim to grow audiences for British and International Film

FHN is looking to support film screenings and events across our region that aim to build audiences for British and International Film.

Hub Member organisations are invited to submit proposals to our micro-grant scheme Propeller, the proposals should have the potential to enhance current programmes and develop new audiences for organisations.

We are particularly interested in hearing from Hub Members who have an innovative approach to audience development they would like to trial, and who are committed to increasing both on screen diversity and the diversity of audiences attending their activity. The aim of the Propeller Scheme is to support Hub Members to programme screenings that will build interest and audiences that have previously not been possible, or to target areas of your community you are not currently reaching. Support from this scheme could be for a one-off special event or a season of curated films but we are inviting proposals that include additional opportunities for audiences for example speakers, Q&As, programme notes or other audience-building enhanced activity.

Hub Members can apply for between £250 and £1,500 to support costs including speaker fees, film hire, marketing and accessibility.
