National Lottery Cinema Day 2018 Take part in the nationwide event
On Sunday, 30 September, Camelot will be rewarding National Lottery players with free cinema tickets for National Lottery Cinema Day - a nationwide event celebrating cinema-going in the UK and the National Lottery's important contributions to the continued success of UK film.
Camelot, the BFI and the Film Audience Network are working together to bring together exhibitors to take part. Participation is free - all ticket sales up to a maximum per ticket subsidy will be covered by National Lottery Cinema Day funding - and open to all Film Hub North members, whether your a full-time cinema or a non-theatrical exhibitor.
The event is a great opportunity to attract new audiences, engage infrequent attendees and experiment with programming - all with minimal risk. It's a chance to put your organisation in the spotlight for one special day, make a clear, compelling offer to your community and feature in the media and PR campaign for a huge national event.
The first step is to submit an expression of interest by 31 May.
After this, the National Lottery Cinema Day team will be in touch in June to confirm details.
Specific information about the event and how it will work for exhibitors and audiences can be found in the event FAQ.
Any further questions should be directed to the ICO who are handling Film Audience Network enquiries on behalf of Film Hub South East: email@example.com.
