Musicals - the Greatest Shows on Film
Take part in the nationwide season

New funding opportunities to support your song and dance spectaculars.

From October 2019 to January 2020, we're joining organisations across the country to celebrate Musicals - the Greatest Shows on Film. This upcoming season is the UK's greatest ever celebration of musicals on the big screen: a welcome revival of one of cinema's best loved and recently resurgent genres.

New funding opportunities have just launched to help exhibitors get involved with their own projects celebrating song and dance in film and television. We can't wait to see the variety of responses programmers in the North have to this year's wide-ranging theme, and we're looking forward to a final programme that's as kaleidoscopic as a Busby Berkeley showstopper. Read on to find out more about the support available.

Support of £1,500 - £12,000 is available for mid-sized Musicals projects such as venue takeovers, extended seasons or touring programmes across the North. Expressions of interest are open now and close on Friday, 2 August.
