Scrapper - Charlotte Regan's joyous comedy of irrepressible youth and unconventional family life - is set to be one of the most exciting British debut features of the year.
Ahead of its general release on Friday 25 August, the film is touring the country for a string of special preview events - including stops at Tyneside Cinema (18 Aug), HOME (21 Aug), Hyde Park Picture House (21 Aug) and FACT (22 Aug).
We're excited to be hosting Filmmaker Roundtables with Charlotte Regan ahead of the Newcastle and Liverpool screenings. Moderated by the BFI NETWORK team, these roundtables are a chance for up to 10 local filmmakers to sit down with Charlotte for an informal chat about her career so far and the journey of making Scrapper.
