Bursaries FHN bursary scheme now open - apply before 31st March!
Film Hub North is committed to supporting professional development and networking opportunities within the film exhibition sector in its region. It aims to fulfil the ambitions of the British Film Institute’s Film Forever strategy and enable organisations to work in partnership to expand the depth, reach, breadth and sustainability of specialised an independent British film in the UK.
Anyone working for a Film Hub North member organisation can apply for bursaries to support travel, accommodation, enrolment fees or accreditation costs to enable you to attend conferences, networking or screening events and film festivals. Bursaries from £50-£250 are available on an ongoing basis, but you must allow up to four weeks turn around for applications.
To apply, applicants must outline what they will achieve with a bursary for use towards an opportunity that might not otherwise be accessible to them. If an application is successful, the Hub will require a written report (approx. 300 words) about your experience after the event, detailing the impact it has had on you or your organisation and how it will assist with wider Hub objectives. Bursaries are reimbursed upon receipt of an expenses claim form and original receipts after the event.
Bursary applications are available on a rolling basis
Please apply before the 31st March - activity applied for can take place beyond this date.
