The Independent Cinema Office's Archive Screening Day takes place at BFI Southbank on 29 November and the Film Hub North team will be there! As Film Audience Network leads on screen heritage activity, the team will be in attendance to hear about the latest goings on in the world of archive film and to announce some news of our own: we'll feature in the main programme and will be presenting our exciting plans for UK-wide screenings taking place in early 2019.

We'll be sharing more information about our 2018/2019 thematic focus and how exhibitors and archives can get involved shortly - watch this space. Until then, you'll have to make do with a stacked Archive Screening Day programme that includes a package of some of Britain's earliest films (120 years in the making!), a restoration of a once-lost Korean gem and a panel discussion on women in silent film comedy.
